FALMOUTH — Environmentally friendly yard care is the subject of a Conservation Commission public forum scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 10, at the Portland Country Club.
The event, entitled “Lawns and Lobsters: Environmentally Safe Lawn Care,” is designed to provide residents with all the information they need to ensure their lawn care products don’t harm Casco Bay.
“Lawns and Lobsters” is free and open to the public and is a Falmouth 300th event. “Learn about the significant role yardscapers can play in persevering our natural resources. Come learn from experts and ask questions,” the Conservation Commission says in a press release.
