FREEPORT — The second annual Freeport Community Center fundraising concert and community dinner will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the center at 53 Depot St.
The Ladies of Flame will perform accompanied by David Watts on piano. The concert begins at 6 p.m.
Following the concert, attendees are invited to enjoy a meal prepared by Mary Lou Carhart, Barbara Bardack and Mabel Gerquest. The dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and includes salad, pork stew, corn bread and dessert. Guests may bring their own wine.
There are 60 tickets available, priced at $15 each. To purchase tickets, call Kim at Freeport Community Services, 865-3985. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the center’s Burn the Mortgage campaign.
