U.S. Sen. Susan Collins video chatted with fifth grade students at Falmouth Elementary School to congratulate Malek Dalal and his classmates on the selection of their Easter egg design that was featured at the 2019 White House Easter Egg Roll last month. Dalal collaborated with his classmates and worked 2-3 hours per day in school and at home to create a design that highlights some of Maine’s iconic features. During the chat, students also asked Collins questions on a variety of topics. Collins said “speaking with Maine students always brightens my day, and these students came prepared with great questions.”
