FALMOUTH — The town will begin its annual leaf collection program this week.
Collection days are on four Fridays throughout the fall: Oct. 16 and 23, and Nov. 13 and 20. Bags must be on the curb by 7 a.m. for collection.
Leaf bags are available at the Public Works building, 101 Woods Road, and are available in quantities of 15 bags per resident. Brush may not be put in the bags or on the curb for collection.
Instead, brush may be brought to the transfer station on Woods Road. The station is open Tuesday and Thursday, noon-4 p.m.; Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
