Brunswick police officers described hearing a “thud” outside the station early in the morning Feb. 19, and found a car had hit a snowbank on Pleasant Street, struck a telephone pole and flipped over. The driver, Riley Spear, 25, of Boothbay Harbor, swerved off the road after falling asleep, according to police. Spear and three passengers had only minor injuries.
