Former U.S. President Bill Clinton appeals to the crowd Tuesday night at the Portland Expo during a rally supporting Democratic U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud’s gubernatorial bid against incumbent Republican Gov. Paul LePage and independent challenger Eliot Cutler. Clinton headlined the rally, which drew about 1,600 people and included speeches from U.S. Senate candidate Shenna Bellows, 2nd Congressional District candidate Emily Cain, Portland Mayor Michael Brennan, and Michaud.
