Cheverus senior Mackenzie Hoglund, joined by his father, Peter, mother, Nicole, and brother, Brady, as well as athletic director Gary Hoyt and several teammates, signs his National Letter of Intent Friday afternoon to attend and play soccer at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. Hoglund played four years for the Stags and played a key role on the surprise 2014 Class A state champion.
“I was looking at a lot of schools,” said Hoglund. “To be honest, it was a long process. I loved Stonehill. It’s close to home. Playing at Stonehill lets me live out my dream of playing in college. It’s something I’ve dreamed about since middle school.”
