FALMOUTH — The Town Council will hold its first public forum on the proposed Falmouth Center mixed-use development June 25 in the cafeteria at Falmouth Elementary School.
The venue for the 7 p.m. meeting was changed from Town Hall because of the crowd that is expected.
The development is proposed by the new owners of the Falmouth Shopping Center and would include a hotel, sports complex, residential housing, restaurants, walking trails and more.
Immediately following the public forum, the council is also scheduled to hold a public hearing on a proposal to rezone a portion of the development site from Business Professional to Village Center 1 to accommodate artificial turf athletic fields included in the sports complex proposal.
