It was a celebration a long time coming for the South Portland High School boys’ lacrosse team, which won its first Class A championship Saturday, June 21, at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland. The Red Riots defeated Brunswick High School, 10-8, while the Cape Elizabeth boys finished an undefeated season with another Class B crown.
