Abigail King, 7, center, her mother Tina and brother Gage, 5, join more than 80 other volunteers on Main Street in Freeport last Saturday for the 13th annual Hand to Hand Food Drive. The volunteers formed a chain, passing bags of nonperishable food items from First Parish Church to the Community Center to restock the shelves of the Food Pantry.
Afterwards, Abigail decorates a cookie while Gage eyes someone else’s creation during a Cookie Carnival at Morse Street School to thank the food drive participants.
