PORTLAND — Catherine Revie, 62, of Portland, died Sept. 18 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 4, 1951, in Portland, a daughter of Francis Emery and Anna L. McCarthy Filieo. She was educated locally and graduated from McAuley High School. She graduated as an x-ray technician from Mercy Hospital.
Revie was a life communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. She married Bruce H. Revie at St. Joseph’s Church on May 20, 1972. She worked for Mercy Hospital for eight years before starting her family. When her family was grown, she worked 10 years for Listen Up call center before retiring.
She enjoyed playing golf, fishing and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Roger Filieo and sister, Alice Haskell.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Portland; a daughter, Christine A Samiquer, and husband, Diego; a son, Michael B. Revie, and wife, Sandra; a sister Barbara Mamoine, and husband, Leo; two brothers, Thomas Filieo, and wife, Mary, and John Filieo and wife, Maryann and three grandchildren Tyler, Mathew and Emma Revie.
Visiting hours were Monday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State St., Portland. Prayers were recited Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, 673 Stevens Ave., Portland. Burial will be at a later date.
