BATH — Carl David White, 33, of Bath, died June 16 in Pennsylvania.

He was born March 6, 1980, in Stroud, Okla., to David Joe White and Laura Rose Duke. 

White was known for his great heart, smile and wit. He enjoyed working as a carnival ride operator, and loved his huge “carnival family.”

White was engaged to April Lee, of Pennsylvania, and the wedding had been planned for July 4.

He was predeceased by his father, David Joe White, of Oklahoma; brothers Leonard W. Osnoe and Clinton Wilson; a nephew, Keenan Ambrose; his grandparents, Ray and Evelyn White; and his grandfather, Herald G. Duke, who was like a second father to him.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Rose Duke, of South Paris; sister Felicia M. Giggey, her husband Shaun and their three sons, of Maine; sister Bobbie Jo Padot, her husband Joey and their two daughters, of Florida; brother David Melter, of Oklahoma; six children, Brett, Lindsay, Chelsey, Yvessah, Dravem and Destinee and their mother, Brandy Duggan; his grandmothers, Judy Duke, of Georgetown, and Rose White, of McAlester, Okla.; many aunts and uncles, and Seth and Krystal, who were like brother and sister to him.

A celebration of White’s life was held June 22 in Bath, and a private service for family members and close friends was held July 6.
