BRUNSWICK — Carie Ann Eck, 36 died unexpectedly on Dec. 23.
Born on Sept. 16, 1975, she was a lifelong member of the Brunswick Community, graduating from Brunswick High School in 1994.
She devoted all of her time and energy to her husband and daughters, her family and her friends. Her family was the center of her universe and she built her life around them.
Eck was the proud owner of her own business, Carie’s Family Child Care, and she dedicated her life to taking care of her own daughters as well as other people’s children, providing a loving and supportive environment for many families.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Peter Allan Eck; daughters Lindsay and Allison; parents Scott and Althea Walker; sisters Jessica and her husband David Libby of Scarborough and Sarah Walker Meade of Brunswick; brother Scott and his wife Kristina Walker of Falmouth; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of her life was held on Dec. 30 at her parent’s home in Brunswick. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to her husband and daughters to help with their difficult transition. Donations can be sent to 36 Range Road, Brunswick, ME 04011.
