PORTLAND — Baxter Boulevard will be closed to motor vehicles on Sundays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., between Vannah Avenue and Payson Park, when Sundays on the Boulevard resumes May 4.
City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said the boulevard will be open for for use by walkers, runners, bicyclists and skateboarders. The plan follows a city Public Services project last year that closed Baxter Boulevard for eight months.
The weekly closures will run through Nov. 9.
