Cape Elizabeth resident Seth White was presented the Boston Post Cane on Feb. 26, his 102nd birthday. The cane has been passed down to the oldest resident in town since 1909; White being the 22nd recipient. The award was previously held by George Baker, who died Jan. 23 at 102. The holder of the cane must have lived in town for at least the past 15 years; White has been a resident since the early 1940s.
