CAPE ELIZABETH — The town is accepting applications from local nonprofit groups that would like to receive proceeds from the Bottle Shed.

Applications, which can be found on the town website, are due by March 25 at 4 p.m. They can be sent to Community Liaison Officer David Galvan at P.O. Box 6260 in Cape Elizabeth or to david.galvan@capeelizabeth.org.

Cape Elizabeth-based nonprofits that benefit children can apply to receive a share of proceeds from the Recycling Center’s Bottle Shed. The amount of proceeds given to each organization will vary depending on need, and the first distribution of funds will be made in April.
