CAPE ELIZABETH — Police are investigating an Aug. 22 robbery on Route 77 where a man punched a woman and stole her wallet.
Police said the victim was walking along Route 77 near the Church of Latter Day Saints, 29 Ocean House Road, at about 3:30 p.m. when she was allegedly attacked by a man wearing jeans and a green sweatshirt. The suspect was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, with facial hair.
Police searched the area, but could not find the suspect, and no leads have developed in the week since the attack, Capt. Brent Sinclair said.
