Summonses

10/6 at 2:20 a.m. James Vogel, 22, of York was summonsed by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of speeding.

10/6 at 5:10 p.m. W. Owen Wood, 41, of Portland was summonsed by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of speeding.

10/7 at 8:00 p.m. Christopher Odlin, 45, of South Portland was summonsed by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of speeding.

Missing trailer

10/5 at 11:35 a.m.  Police were notified that a dump trailer and tools were allegedly stolen from a roofing job site on Bowery Beach Road. The roofing contractor reported the trailer may have been taken between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and is described as a Downeaster dual-axle trailer rated for 9,800 pounds, and worth $2,500. The trailer is black and has corrugated metal roofing on the sides. It contained miscellaneous debris, several tarps and hand tools. Three termination bars which had been stored under the trailer were also missing. The bars may have been taken for scrap metal value.
