Summonses

11/15 at 12:26 p.m. Daniel Lewin, 29, of Portland, was issued a summons on Bowery Beach Road by Officer David Galvan on a charge of failure to produce insurance.

11/17 at 6:48 p.m. Christopher Rasco, 49, of Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Route 77 by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of improper passing.

11/17 at 10:45 p.m. William Goduti, 19, of Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Route 77 by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of failure to produce insurance.

Super-human mailbox thief

10/13, no time reported. A Broad Cove resident reported that his mailbox and post had been stolen the previous night. Police said it appeared that a “physically, quite strong human had lifted it out of the ground,” noting that no tire marks were left at the scene. Police searched the area, but found no evidence of the mailbox.
