11/13 at 12:42 a.m. Daniel O. Mailman, 39, of Mitchell Road, was arrested on Mitchell Road by Officer Kevin Kennedy on a charge of aggravated assault.
11/14 at 2:45 a.m. Harry C. Bishop, 29, of Portland, was arrested on Mitchell Road by Officer Eric Fay on charges of theft, possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass.
11/12 at 1:30 p.m. Teresa D’Andrea, 28, of South Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Gaudette on Olde Colony Lane on a charge of assault.
11/12 at 9:45 p.m. Alec Sesto, 20, of Scarborough, was issued a summons by Officer Rory Diffin on Wells Road on a charge of possession of alcohol by consumption.
11/14 at 11:24 p.m. Evan Fessendent, 18, of Andover, was issued a summons on Ocean House Road by Officer Andy Steindl on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Open cars tempt crime
11/9 to 11/14 There were nine reported cases of items taken from inside unlocked vehicles over the past few weeks. Missing items range from loose change to GPS units to purses and identification. A resident of the Ocean View area contacted police to report a vehicle burglary and provided a description of the suspect. Police were able to locate and arrest Harry Bishop, 29, of Portland. He was found with items that had been taken from vehicles and was later charged with possession of burglary tools and six counts of receiving stolen property.
Bumped at the dump
11/13 Police met with a resident who reported a public works truck accidentally pushed a waste container into the side of their vehicle at the transfer station. Police reported the damage was less than $1,000.
