Arrests

5/8 at 1:56 a.m. Michael Maxim Bohlmann, 32, of New York, was arrested by Officer Andy Steindl on Broad Cove Road on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

5/3 at 4 p.m. Austin Steele, 19, of South Portland was issued a summons by Officer Ben Davis on Bowery Beach Road on a charge of operating after suspension.

5/4 at 10:30 p.m. Seth Baker, 22, of Deerfield, Mass., was issued a summons by Officer Ben Davis on Ocean House Road on a charge of operating after suspension.

Over the top customer service

5/4 A resident of the Spurwink Avenue area contacted police to report a credit card problem. The resident bought an item from a salesman using a credit card but after reviewing their credit card statement, realized they had been overcharged. The resident contacted the parent company and discovered the salesman no longer worked for them but was still representing himself as an employee. Police report the resident contacted the bank and also plans to file a complaint with the Attorney General’s office.

Gone on arrival

5/7 Police met with two people visiting Fort Williams Park who reported items missing from their vehicle. Police report checkbooks, cash and a credit card were allegedly stolen from the trunk of the car.

5/7 at 2:11 a.m. Mutual aid to South Portland.
