3/5 at 4:35 p.m. Daniel Rote, 39, of Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Spurwink Road by Sgt. Kevin Kennedy on a charge of failure to produce insurance. 

3/5 at 5 p.m. Joshua Bronn, 24, of Westbrook, was issued a summons on Ocean House Road by Officer Ben Davis on a charge of failure to produce insurance.

3/9 at 5:40 p.m. Ashley Grenier, 22, of South Berwick, was issued a summons on Broad Cove Road by Officer Ben Davis on a charge of operating with an expired license.

3/9, no time reported. A 17-year-old male was issued a summons at his Harpswell residence by Community Liaison Officer Mark Dorval on a charge of terrorizing.

3/11 at 5:08 p.m. Alan Finn, 68, of South Portland, was issued a summons on Shore Road by Sgt. Kevin Kennedy on a charge of failure to produce insurance.

Pond Cove grifter

2/27, no time reported. A resident of the Ocean House Road area reported the burglary of a car in the Pond Cove Shopping Center parking lot. Missing from the car was a wallet containing the resident’s driver license, credit cards and cash, police said.

False alarm

3/9, no time reported. Police responded to a call about a burglary in progress in the Ocean House Road area. The report was unfounded upon further investigation because the suspected burglar turned out to be a family member, police said.
