3/12 at 2:45 a.m. Anthony D. Welch, 22, of Mayo Street, Portland, was arrested on Spurwink Avenue by Officer Aaron Webster on charges of operating under the influence, refusing to submit to arrest, criminal trespass and leaving the scene of an accident.

3/7 at 7:15 p.m. Mario Tremblay, 19, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Ocean House Road by Officer Rory Diffin on a charge of driving an uninspected vehicle.

3/7 at 3:40 p.m. Cassandra Glynn, 20, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Shore Road by Officer David Galvan on a charge of failing to produce insurance.

3/8 at 12:02 a.m. Vanessa Helmick, 33, Costa Mesa, Calif., was issued a summons on Route 77 by Sgt. Kevin Kennedy on a charge of improper display of registration plates.

3/8 at 2:05 p.m. Lisa Tripler, 56, of Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Spurwink Avenue by Officer David Galvan on a charge of driving 56 mph in a 35 mph zone.

3/10 at 1:02 a.m. Brandon Newell, 34, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Cheverus Road by Officer Ben Davis on a charge of driving an uninspected motor vehicle.

3/11 at 12:05 a.m. Bruce Mills, 47, Portland, was issued a summons on Eastfield Road by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of failing to change the address on his license.

3/11 at 5:43 p.m. A 17-year-old juvenile was issued a summons on Bowery Beach Road by Officer Ben Davis on a charge of driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone.

3/11 at 6:04 p.m. Jeffrey Witherell, 22, Cape Elizabeth, was issued a summons on Fowler Road by Officer Rory Diffin on a charge of a seat belt violation.

3/9 After a crossing guard complained a driver ignored her stop sign, police contacted the owner of the vehicle matching the license plate the crossing guard obtained. No summonses or citations were issued.

Loss of direction

3/10 Police are investigating a reported motor vehicle burglary on Ocean House Road where the vehicle owner said a global positioning device and mp3 player were missing.
