6/20 at 2:26 a.m. Stephen Gaughan, 37, of Union Village Road, Norwich, Vt., was arrested by Officer Aaron Webster and charged with operating under the influence.

6/22 at 5:22 p.m. Ryder Duane, 67, of Sawyer Road, Cape Elizabeth, was arrested by Officer Christopher Burgess on a warrant.

Summonses

6/16 at 11:32 a.m. Lesley Treadwell, 51, was issued a summons on Shore Road by Sergeant Kevin Kennedy on a charge of uninspected motor vehicle.

6/18 A 17-year-old was issued a summons by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of possession of marijuana.

6/25 at 9:54 a.m. Hollie Hayes, 29, was issued a summons on Route 77 by Sergeant Kevin Kennedy on a charge of uninspected motor vehicle.

Gone with the tide

6/17 Police were called in when a man who had helped rescue a sailboat that had come ashore near Cragmoor later discovered his wallet was missing. When he returned to the area, he found his wallet, sans money and credit cards, in the water.

High wire finance

6/20 A resident met with an officer to make a fraud complaint. The resident had allegedly been swindled by an e-mail scam that involved cashing a check for $6,000 and sending $2,000 of that cash via Western Union to a person in Los Angeles. The victim was notified by the bank that the check had bounced. The case is under investigation.
