6/2 at 7:53 p.m. Christopher Love, 51, of Pennsylvania, was arrested on Ocean House Road by Officer Rory Diffin on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

6/6 A 16-year-old was issued a summons by Officer Jeffrey Gaudette on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Stolen clothes & drugs

6/4 At about 5 p.m. police met with a Scott Dyer Road area resident about a possible burglary. Missing from the residence are some items of clothing and prescription medications.

Gone speed racer

6/4 A little before 6 p.m., police met with a Fowler Road area resident who had found an abandoned bicycle. The bike is described as a single speed and is spray-painted silver.

Grand borrowed auto

6/6 Police met with a Mitchell Road area resident regarding a possible stolen vehicle. The car was later accounted for, a family member had loaned it to a friend.

Bird bangers

6/6 Around 9 p.m., police responded to the Old Ocean House Road area after a caller reported possible gun shots. Police located four men with a firearm and “Bird Banger Fireworks.” One of the men told police that the rounds were used to keep birds from airport runways. The unused rounds were confiscated and the men were issued warnings for discharging firearms within town limits as well as unlawful possession of an explosive device.
