Summonses

7/10 at 9:34 p.m. A 15-year-old boy of Cape Elizabeth was arrested by Officer Rory Diffin on Ocean House Road on charges of refusing to submit to arrest and failure to provide correct name.

Close call

7/5 at 3:01 a.m. Police responded a resident of the Sawyer Road area who reported a motor vehicle burglary in progress. Police report the alleged suspects were interrupted by a homeowner. According to police, the subjects left behind a bag containing property taken from other vehicles. Most of the property has been identified by and returned to the owners.

The Big Steal

7/5 Police were contacted by a resident in the Spurwink Avenue area to report a movie in a Netflix envelope was allegedly stolen from the mailbox during the night.

Rabid fox at Two Lights

7/7 Police responded to Two Lights State Part when a woman and a child were reportedly bitten by a fox. The fox was located and destroyed. It was transported to the state lab where it tested positive for rabies.

7/6 at 3:49 p.m. Water rescue near Two Lights Road.

7/8 at 6:49 p.m. Fuel spill on Ocean House.

7/10 at 7:22 p.m. Water Rescue.

7/10 at 9:32 p.m. Fire investigation on Longfellow Drive.
