12/16 at 9:46 a.m. Joshua Mitchael Howell, 20, of Dawson Street, South Portland, was arrested by Officer Aaron Webster on Sawyer Road on a charge of operating after suspension.

12/17 at 12:15 a.m. Joshua Stockson, 33, of Carriage House Road, was arrested by Officer Aaron Webster on Ocean House Road on a charge of violation of condition of release.

Summonses

12/17 at 11:23 p.m. Paul Reny, 18, of South Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Rory Diffin on Wildwood Drive on a charge of possession of alcohol by consumption.

12/17 at 11:38 p.m  Matthew Foster, 19, of South Portland, was issued a summons by Officer Rory Diffin on Wildwood Drive on a charge of possession of alcohol by consumption.

Not an elf

12/16 Police were notified of an alleged burglary at 3 a.m. in the Stonegate Road area. Police report a homeowner woke to find a man allegedly attempting to break into the house, but then running away. Around 6 a.m. the same morning, police were notified of a man rummaging in a resident’s vehicle in the Mitchell Road area. When the resident turned on a light to check the vehicle, the man fled the area. Later that day, a resident of Stonegate area contacted police to report two women’s jackets had been allegedly stolen from the garage. Residents also reported that alcoholic beverages had been taken from the refrigerator in the garage during the night.

Un-fare

12/21 at 1:45 a.m. Police were contacted by a taxi driver who reported an alleged robbery early Wednesday morning. Police report the taxi driver picked up three white men in Portland and brought them to Cape Elizabeth. The men allegedly robbed the taxi driver at knife point and took all his cab fare. The driver was not harmed and the case is under investigation.
