8/5 at 3:14 a.m. A 16-year-old was arrested by Officer Ben Davis on charges of illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile by consumption, and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

8/5 at 9:14 a.m. John Stanton Morris, 19, was arrested by Officer Rory Diffin on a warrant on Granite Ridge Road for operating without a license.

8/7 at 2:39 a.m. Morgan Nicole Barnes, 19, of Spurwink Avenue, was arrested by Officer Rory Diffin on Ocean House Road on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license in violation of restriction.


8/7 at 7:38 p.m. Earl Ingalls, 60, of Ocean House Road, was issued a summons on a charge of driving an unregistered and uninspected vehicle.

Sticks and stones

8/3 Police were notified of a burglary in the Broad Cove neighborhood. Residents reported a lacrosse stick was removed from a vehicle.

I swear!

8/3 at 10:06 p.m. Police were contacted by a resident on Shore Road to report a person screaming obscenities. By the time police arrived, the person had left.
