CAPE ELIZABETH — Local artists are getting together to put on the inaugural Cape Art Studio Tour.

The Sept. 29 event will “provide a rare opportunity to meet some of Cape’s finest artists, who will open their doors and invite the public into their personal spaces to share their working environs and answer questions about their creative process,” according to a news release.

Six artists at five locations are included in the tour, which will run from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Art will be on exhibit and for sale in each studio.

Featured artists will be painters Kim Case, Graham Wood, and Marci Spier; sculptor Lynn Bailets; abstract artist and photographer Julie Laukkanen, and Amanda Edwards, who creates stained glass mosaics.
