Speeder charged with possessing cocaine
2/16 at 3:31 a.m.
Officer Brian McCarthy pulled over a vehicle that was allegedly speeding on the Turnpike Spur. The driver could not provide a driver’s license and allegedly provided a false name to police. A subsequent search of the vehicle and a male passenger reportedly produced a small amount of suspected cocaine, packaging and a digital scale. Carl Dagostino, 27, of New Haven, Conn., was arrested on charges of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, operating without a license and failure to give correct name and date of birth. Reymundo Vazquez, 27, of New Haven, Conn., was arrested on charges of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and possession of a suspended license.

Police responded to Ridgeland Avenue for a reported disturbance. The homeowner claimed a man hired to service his heating system had entered the home while he was away. An argument ensued about the alleged intrusion as well as the work performance. Officers reportedly found the service man working in the cellar. Mark Conley, 54, of Raymond, was summonsed on a charge of criminal trespass.
A real snow job

A plowman called police to complain that a woman wouldn’t pay for a $30 plow job. Officer Patricia Maynard reportedly contacted the Bonneybriar homeowner, who allegedly refused to pay the debt. Josephine Dehahn, 68, was summonsed on a charge of theft of services.
