CAPE ELIZABETH — The Town Council nominated Councilor David Sherman Jr. to serve as chairman for 2011.
He will replace Councilor Anne Swift-Kayatta, who served this year.
Sherman was the chairman of the Ordinance Committee in 2010 and is in his third year on the council.
The Finance Committee will again be lead by Councilor Sara Lennon. Councilor Jessica Sullivan will serve as the chairwoman of the Appointments Committee and Councilor James Walsh will be the chairman of the Ordinance Committee.
Councilors caucused on Monday, Dec. 6, and will voted on the appointments on Monday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. New Councilor Caitlin Jordan and re-elected Councilor Frank Governali will be sworn in Monday, along with School Board members Michael C. Moore and Kimberly J. Monaghan-Derrig.
