CAPE ELIZABETH — Author Meg Wolff, a two-time cancer survivor, has written her first cookbook, “A Life In Balance: Delicious, Plant-Based Recipes For Optimal Health.”

After fighting advanced invasive breast cancer, Wolff wrote “Becoming Whole,” describing her recovery from a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.

“A Life in Balance” includes recipes for healthy eating with a preface by Cape Elizabeth native Joan Benoit Samuelson and a forward by T. Colin Campbell, an expert on plant-based diets.

A portion of the proceeds from book sales will go to Share Our Strength, an organization to help end childhood hunger. For a list of events, visit megwolff.com.
