Bowdoin College was the place to be last weekend. The Polar Bears football team opened their season against Williams. Despite the best efforts of Tyler Grant and his team-high 64 rushing yards, Bowdoin lost, 27-7.
Hunter Miller and the men’s soccer team played Middlebury to a 0-0 tie.
Meanwhile, Mettler Growney and the perennial powerhouse field hockey team stayed undefeated with a 2-1 win over Middlebury. Rachel Kennedy had both goals.
