Alexis Bolduc, Taylor Crosby and Alizah Brandwein, left to right, dance the night away last Saturday during the ninth annual Strive Rocks! dance marathon at Maine Mall. The 12-hour dance party, with live music, began at 9 p.m., and was followed Sunday by all-day family events to benefit South Portland-based Strive, an agency serving youth and young adults with developmental disabilities. Strive spokesman Peter Brown said 400 dancers and 500 families raised about $60,000, up 25 percent from last year’s total.
