A crew from Asplundh Tree Expert Co. removes limbs from a power line on Park Street in Freeport on Sunday, when Tropical Storm Irene hit Maine. The effects of the storm left a peak of about 187,000 Central Maine Power Co. customers without electricty on Sunday night. The company estimated 280,000 customers lost service at some point during the storm.
