BRUNSWICK — Two men accused of stabbing a man in May were indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury June 10.

Robert W. McKenney, 43, of Brunswick, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault, elevated aggravated assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

Wendall D. Casler, 38, of Bath, was indited on charges of aggravated assault, elevated aggravated assault, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

The men were arrested May 18 in connection with a May 15 stabbing on Market Lane. The victim, a 39-year-old Ohio man, was treated for his wounds and released from Maine Medical Center.

An indictment is a finding that enough evidence exists to prosecute, not a determination of guilt.
