Brunswick’s Myles Silverman (center) recently won his 14-19 age group in the fourth Sugarloaf Banked Slalom. He missed the overall men’s podium by a tenth of a second and wound up fourth out of 150 finalists behind only Olympians Seth Wescott and Ross Powers and X-Game Silver medalist Alex Tuttle. Silverman attends the Lowell Whiteman School in Colorado and will be competing in the Mountain Dew vertical challenge finals in Vermont at this weekend and in the USASA Nationals for both slalom and giant slalom at Copper Mountain in Colorado March 31 and April 3.
