BRUNSWICK — The School Board is hoping members of the public will turn out at the first public forum on the 2012-2013 budget.

Brunswick is facing a nearly $2 million decline in tuition dollars and state and federal aid over last year. Faced with another challenging budget season, officials and administrators want to hear from residents about their priorities.

While the town’s elementary schools bore the brunt of budget cuts the past several years, Superintendent Paul Perzanoski said the junior high school and high school would likely be hit harder this year.

The forum takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at Brunswick Station.
