BRUNSWICK — Kelly Wentworth has been named School Department business manager after the retirement of longtime manager James Oikle.
Wentworth, a graduate of Brunswick High School and Westbrook College (now the University of New England), was director of finance and human resources in Regional School Unit 5 for the last five years. She previously spent 11 years working in municipal finance in Pownal.
Oikle spent 15 years as business director and retired Oct. 31. He has agreed to stay on one day a week until Wentworth takes over the post Nov 28.
Superintendent of Schools Paul Perzanoski announced Wentworth’s hiring Nov. 2.
