BRUNSWICK — Police on Monday were investigating a one-vehicle accident that left one person dead Sunday, Oct. 29.
Police Cmdr. Thomas Garrepy said in a press release a pickup truck was discovered on its side around 8 a.m. in a wooded area near the intersection of Maine Street and Pleasant Hill Road.
The driver, Matthew Stevens, 32, of Wood Avenue, Topsham, was declared dead at the scene by rescue personnel.
