11/12 at 2:36 p.m. After responding to a disturbance on Mill Street, police said a resident had been walking their dog up the exterior stairs of an apartment building when it was attacked by a cat. The cat’s owner came out and helped separate the animals, but the owners then had their own argument. One party took out a knife but did not directly threaten the other person, police said, and the other party took out a wooden stick. Police asked the pet owners to stay away from each other and keep their animals under control.
