10/22 at 10:02 a.m. William H. Geary, 60, of Merepoint Road, was arrested on Merepoint Road by Officer Daniel Sylvain on an outstanding warrant.

10/22 at 7:37 p.m. Scott A. Coombs, 36, of Water Street, was arrested on Elm Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of criminal trespass, refusing to submit to arrest or detention and possession of marijuana. 

10/23 at 4:42 p.m. Stephen A. Shaffer, 26, of West Elm Street, Yarmouth, was arrested on Everett Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

10/23 at 4:42 p.m. Elton A. Goldmann, 24, no address listed, was arrested on Everett Street by Sgt. Jonathan O’Connor on charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

10/25 at 1:47 p.m. Christopher L. McKenney, 21, address unknown, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Justin Dolci on charges of criminal trespass and violating condition of release.

10/25 at 4:25 p.m. Craig A. Worthing, 63, of Cedar Street, was arrested on Bath Road by Officer John Roma on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

10/28 at 6:44 a.m. Crystol A. Quintana, 27, of School Street, was arrested on River Road by Officer Robert Lane Jr. on two outstanding warrants.

10/28 at 3:20 p.m. Raymond D. Leavitt, 51, transient, Portland, was arrested on Maine Street by Officer Daniel Sylvain on a charge of robbery.

Save the pup

10/28 at 11:45 a.m. Animal Control Officer Heidi Nelson responded to a call about a yellow, male Labrador retriever stuck in a retaining pond near the Graham Road Recycling Facility. After Nelson was unable to reach the dog, a team of firefighters arrived with water gear to rescue the mutt, who appeared to be healthy once out of the water.
