5/2 at 12:50 p.m.  Mary Jo A. Barrett, 62, of Belmont Street, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Thomas P. Stanton Jr. and charged with operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

5/3 at 7:45 a.m. Gerald S. Clifford, 34, of Skowhegan, was arrested at Mid Coast Hospital by Officer Gretchen A. Paxton on a warrant.

5/3 at 9:20 a.m. Stephen G. Beaulieu, 18, of Cumberland Street, was arrested in the Shaws parking lot on Congress by Detective William P. Moir and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5/3 at 11:27 a.m. Echo L. Alexander, 27, of Middle Street in Bath was arrested at the Walmart on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Gretchen A. Paxton and charged with shoplifting and violating a condition of release.

5/3 at 3:06 p.m.  Katie M. Desantis, 35, of Wood Pond Road, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Terry Goan on two warrants.

5/4 at 10:45 p.m. Nicole Finlay, 23, of Bow Street, was arrested at Fort Andros on Maine Street by Officer Daniel A. Sylvain on a warrant.

5/4 at 3:21 p.m. Laurie A. Bubar, 33, of Gilman Avenue, was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Officer Jonathan A. O’Connor on a warrant.

5/5 at 11:55 a.m. Tod M. Thibeault, 55, of Turner Street, was arrested at the Brunswick Diner on Pleasant Street by Officer Terry A. Goan and charged with criminal trespass.

5/5 at 9:33 p.m. Robert D. Faulkner, 23, of Bath Road was arrested at Goodwin’s Chevrolet on Pleasant Street by Detective Gregory D. Mears and charged with operating under the influence, operating while license is suspended or revoked, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug.

5/6 at 12:25 a.m. Jason A. Gage, 37, of Middle Street in Bath, was arrested outside Clementine Restaurant on Maine Street by Sergeant Paul R. Hansen on a warrant.

Summonses

5/4 at 3:04 p.m. Maximilia Staiger, 22, of West Caldwell, N.J., was given a summons on Pleasant Street by Officer Patrick Scott on a charge of motor vehicle speeding at 30-plus miles over the speed limit.

Clockwork crook

5/3 at 7:45 a.m. Gerald S. Clifford, 34, of Skowhegan, was arrested at Mid Coast Hospital by Officer Gretchen A. Paxton on a warrant. Exactly 12 hours earlier, at 7:45 p.m., Clifford had been taken into protective custody at the Gelato Fiasco on Maine Street by Officer Matthew Swan.

Reeferred to the cops

5/3 at 2:35 p.m. A woman called police after she found a pouch in the municipal parking lot on Bank Street that contained some marijuana in the side pocket. There was no identifying information in the pouch, so police say that it could not be returned to its rightful owner. The owner is invited to contact police at earliest convenience.

The healthy, smoking, gaming thief

5/3 at 11:48 p.m. When Walmart employees noticed a man wearing a big jacket, a sweatshirt, and a hat slipping items into his jacket, they tried to apprehend him, but he fled. Employees told police that he escaped with an X-box system, two X-box games, some cigarettes and some vitamins. An investigation is ongoing.

Creepy camper

5/5 at 10:03 a.m. A 35-year-old man from Phippsburg was given a criminal trespass warning after police found him camping in the Riverside Cemetery on River Road.
