5/14 at 6:41 p.m. Archie F. Lully,59, of Dunning Street was arrested by Officer Julia Gillespie at the Hannaford on Dunning Street and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5/16 at 10:02 p.m. Jotham W. Johnson, 26, of Doughty Point, Harpswell, was arrested outside the Wild Oats Bakery on Maine Street and charged with unlawful possession of schedule W Drugs and aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs.

5/17 at 11:10 p.m. Paul James Miernik, 37, of Redlands, Cal. was arrested on Maine Street by Officer John Roma and charged with operating under the influence.

5/19 at 8:04 p.m. Bryan D. Wilson, 30, of Brunswick was arrested on Maine Street by Officer Patrick Scott on a warrant.

5/20 at 12:10 p.m. Aaron J. Aldrich, 31, of Cumberland Street was arrested on Cumberland Street by Office Jonathan O’Connor on a warrant.

5/15 at 12:41 p.m. Kenneth Robert Switzer, 32, of Maquoit Road was given a summons by Officer Gretchen Paxton on Maquoit Road on a charge of assault.

5/17 at 2:43 p.m. Leah Z. Murdoch, 25, of Bristol, was issued a summons at the Walmart on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Gretchen Paxton on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5/17 at 7:15 p.m. Cameron M Havener, 19, of Swett Street was given a summons on River Road by Officer Matthew Swan on a charge of possession of marijuana.

5/18 at 9:01 a.m. Monika Blalock, 54, of Merrymeeting Road was given a summons on Merrymeeting Road by Animal Control Officer Heidi Nelson on a charge of having a dog at large.

5/18 at 5:25 p.m. Krista P. Haley, 31, of Clufbay Road was given a summons on Route 1 by Sergeant Paul Hansen on two charges of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, and one charge of violating condition of release.

5/19 at 9:31 a.m. Joseph Carmichael, 26, of Bath Road, was given a summons on Bath Road by Officer Jason McCarthy and charged with operating after suspension.

5/19 at 3:11 p.m. Alisson C. Morin, 28, of Dunning Street was issued a summons on Dunnign Street by Officer Patrick R. Scott on a charge of possession of marijuana.

5/19 at 7:46 p.m. William L. Bourgoin, 42, of Maquoit Road was issued a summons on Maine Street by Officer Patrick R. Scott on a charge of operating while license is suspended or revoked.

5/20 at 7:16 p.m. Eliza Z. Novick-Smith, 20, of New York City, was issued a summons on Maine Street by Officer Patrick R. Scott on a charge of possession of a false ID card.

5/21 at 12:41 a.m. Justin I. Hayward, 33, of Pownal Road in Freeport, was issued a summons on Melodic Lane by Officer Daniel Sylvain on a charge of domestic violence assault.

A little less happy now

5/14 at 3:24 p.m.  The employees of the Happy Kitchen restaurant called police when they found a survival knife in the bushes outside the eatery. Police are holding the knife until someone comes forward to claim it.

5/15 at 12:41 p.m. Kenneth Robert Switzer, 32, of Maquoit Road was issued a summons on a charge of assault after he hit his neighbor in the head. Witnesses said that the assault happened after the neighbor turned down a request to loan Switzer his car.

72 ounces of trouble

5/16 at 6:41 p.m. Staff at the Hannaford on Elm Street told police that Archie F. Lully, 59, of Dunning Street, caused a commotion at the customer service counter after a cashier refused to let him purchase three 24 oz cans of Keystone Light Beer using his EBT card. Lully allegedly left the store with the beer, despite warnings from store security. Police arrested him in the parking lot.

Stripes are the new black

5/17 at 2:43 p.m. Leah Z. Murdoch, 25, of Bristol, was issued a summons at the Walmart on Tibbetts Drive after reportedly trying to conceal 26 separate items, valued at $405.44, on her body. Police said that most of the items were personal care products, fishing equipment, clothing items and accessories. Murdoch allegedly entered a restroom with the merchandise and exited wearing different clothes, including a new pair of shoes. She left her old shoes in the bathroom.
