5/10 at 10:37 a.m. Joseph Frank Kopp, 36, of 19 Old Farm Road, West Bath, was arrested on Maine Street on a charge of probation violation.

5/12 at 10:33 a.m. Michael D. Elwell, 50, of 45 Garrison St., was arrested on Medical Center Drive on a charge of violating condition of release.

5/15 at 8:13 p.m. Jonathan Scott Hartill, 19, of 16 Westminster Ave., was arrested on Bath Road on a charge of violating condition of release.

Summonses

5/14 at 6:05 p.m. Tommy J. O’Neal, 48, of 11254 Oak Drive, St. Louis, Mo., was summonsed on Harpswell Road on charges of assault, unlawful sexual touching and reckless conduct.

5/15 at 9:03 p.m. Bo C. Stiles, 23, of 1294 U.S. Route 1, Apt. F, Freeport, was summonsed at Bull Moose Music on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Mace to the face

5/14 at 6:05 p.m. Police received a 911 call from a woman claiming she was assaulted by a man while giving him a ride. According to police, the woman met the man near Cumberland Street. The woman claimed the man was drunk and asked her to drive him to a Harpswell Road residence. On the way, the man allegedly began making sexual advances. When the woman spurned the man’s overtures, he allegedly began striking her head with his elbow. The woman reportedly stopped the car and sprayed the man with a can of mace before fleeing to a nearby residence to call police. The man, Tommy J. O’Neal, 48, of St. Louis, Mo., was later summonsed on charges of assault, unlawful sexual touching and reckless conduct. O’Neal was later transported to Mid Coast Hospital because police believe his alleged intoxication had reached a dangerous level.
