3/24 at 9:53 a.m. A motorist reported a road rage incident between two vehicles driving south on Route 1. According to police, the incident involved two drivers who reportedly engaged in tailgating, speeding and a so-called “brake-job” before sideswiping each other, causing damage to both vehicles. Police say both motorists, Davis Lavigne, 25, of 36 Dummer St., Bath, and David Babcock, 44, of Rocker Ridge Road, West Bath, knew one another and were involved with the same woman. Both were summonsed on charges of driving to endanger.
