6/14 at 5:54 p.m. Rhonda B. Brubaker, 46, of 32B Hennessey Ave. Apt. 1, was arrested at Hannaford on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

6/14 at 10:12 p.m. Savanna R. Smith, 18, of 39 High St., was arrested on Maine Street on a charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drug and a warrant.

6/15 at 12:31 a.m. Whitney Lynn Capell, 18, of 3 Riendeau Way, Topsham, was arrested on Maine Street on charges of operating under the influence and operating vehicle without a license.

6/16 at 11:54 a.m. Norman A. Sardella, 63, of 80 Longfellow St. Apt. 421, Westbrook, was arrested on Leeward Cove Road on charges of violating condition of release, possession of firearm by prohibited person, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and transient seller of home repair (failure to register).

6/19 at 1:50 a.m. Scott A. Coombs, 33, of 3 Swett St. Apt. 5, was arrested on Pleasant Street on a charge of violation condition of release.

6/20 at 6:55 p.m. Michael R. Eaton, 25, of 25 River Road Apt. 5B, was arrested on Federal Street on a warrant.

6/20 at 8:05 p.m. Corey H. Ater, 23, of 145 High St., Bath, was arrested on Federal Street on a warrant.

6/20 at 9:42 p.m. Mitchell P. Rice, 46, of 130 George Wright Road, Woolwich, was arrested on McKeen Street on charges of operating under the influence, operating while license suspended or revoked (prior offense) and two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drug.

6/17 at 4:32 p.m. Fire units were called to a small fire at the St. John’s Bazaar. According to the Fire Department, an object caught in the vent of a fried dough machine beneath the concession tent ignited while the fryer was heating up. Deputy Chief Jeff Emerson, who just happened to be at the scene with an ambulance crew, helped extinguish the fire within minutes. Emerson did not say if fire affected the fried dough’s availability, or its deliciousness.
