1/26 at 6:50 p.m. Jonathan J. Brennan, 21, of Bing Moore Road, Bowdoin, was arrested by Officer Edward Yurek on Theodore Drive on a warrant.

1/27 at 3:24 p.m. Nicholas P. Hersom, 28, of Elwell Lane, was arrested by Officer Gretchen Paxton on Elm Street on charges of terrorizing and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

1/29 at 2:09 p.m. David J. Turner, 35, of Hoyt Street, South Portland, was arrested by Officer Jonathan O’Connor on Gurnet Road on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and attaching false plates.

1/25 at 8:31 a.m. A caller reported seeing a fox wandering around the golf course off River Road that was “acting strange.” The call was handled by the dispatcher and no officers responded.

Feline private eye

1/29 at 1:43 p.m. A man walking on Jordan Avenue flagged down a passing police cruiser and reportedly complained that a black and white cat had been following him down the street. He allegedly told the officer he wanted to contact the cat’s owner, and the officer said that was fine.
