12/19 at 5:17 p.m. John P. Roberts Jr., 42, of Mill Lane, Westbrook, was arrested on Tibbetts Drive by Lt. Todd Ridlon on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. John J. Connors, 40, of Verrill Road, Portland, also was arrested on the same charge.

12/21 at 1:19 p.m. Frank A. Cuppernell, 23, of Harpswell Road, Harpswell, was arrested on Maine Street by Officer Robert Lane Jr. on a charge of operating under the influence.
