12/12 at 4:44 p.m. Elizabeth D. Rose, 35, of Lewiston, was arrested on Union Street by Officer Julie Gillespie on two warrants.

12/12 at 8:28 p.m. Corey A. Emery, 20, of Cumberland Street, was arrested on Cumberland Street by Robert Lane Jr on a warrant.

12/12 at 10:11 p.m. Stephen R. Leavitt, of Sandy Cove Road, Harpswell, was arrested on Gurnet Road by Officer Edward Yurek on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license.

12/14 at 11:41 p.m. Dennis R. Briggs Jr., 35, of Richmond, was arrested on Union Street by Officer Patrick Scott on a charge of disorderly conduct (loud, unreasonable noise).

12/16 at 9:26 p.m. Maxwell R. Payne III, 27, of Lisbon Street, Lisbon Falls, was arrested at School Street and Park Row by Officer Patrick Scott on a charge of refusing to sign a criminal summons.

12/17 at 1:32 p.m. Sean R. Webster, 24, of Gleed Drive, was issued a summons on Gleed Drive by Lt. Michael Moody on charges of burglary of a motor vehicle and theft from a motor vehicle.

Christmas tree inferno

12/12 at 1:08 p.m. Brunswick fire and rescue services responded to a call from a Hovey Lane home, where a small artificial Christmas tree was intentionally set ablaze by a 13-year-old juvenile. No one was hurt, but the house experienced smoke damage and damage to the kitchen counter, where the tree had been set. No charges have been filed.
